Time for action — finding and making the bin game

Let's find and create a bin game, where the student is expected to decide which statements are true and which are false, by dropping the statements into the correct bin.

  1. 1. Go to the web address http://www.classtools.net.

  2. 2. Find Templates and then choose Dustbin Game as shown in the following screenshot:

  3. 3. Click on the Start button under the garbage can!

  4. 4. Enter your statements in the text boxes (bins) available on the next screen. You'll have four bins; ignore the ones that you don't want to use. Change category 1 name to True and category 2 name to False:

  5. 5. Enter a password in the Password Protect block, to stop students from being able to alter your words.

  6. 6. Click on the blue diskette icon, available to the right of the Proceed button.

  7. 7. When asked whether you want to open or save the file, choose to save it somewhere on your computer.

  8. 8. That's it. Done!
