Students who don't have MS Office installed in their computer can search the Internet for some software application that supports MS Office created files. One such application is LibreOffice. Let's learn how to download it.
1. Go to the website http://www.libreoffice.org/.
2. Click on Download LibreOffice.
3. Look at the number of the latest, feature-rich version. At the time of writing, it was 3.5.0 but it might be different when you read this.
4. Scroll down to the drop-down boxes and choose your type of computer operating system. They're usually clever enough to guess, so it will probably already give you the correct type. Mine here says Windows, British English, which is correct.
5. Click the first link to download it.
6. When the next screenshot comes up, click on Run. (If you have only the save file link, that's OK. Save it and then run it.)
7. If you get a security warning prompting you to agree to the installation, go ahead...
