Adding audio and conferencing to your Sametime client

Adding a new conferencing solution to your client is managed from your Sametime client preferences. In the Preferences menu, there is an option for Telephony and Audio and Video. This menu will be blank if you don't have an active camera and microphone or if you cannot connect to the Media Manager. You may not be able to connect to the Media Manager if you are connected to Sametime from outside your company or organization's firewall and your company has not configured a TURN server. The Audio Conference Solution titled Sametime Audio/Video conferencing is the built-in Media Manager conferencing system we have already discussed.

If there is a TCSPI adaptor installed on the Media Manager for your Sametime community, then you can click on New and add the call-in details in order to use the TCSPI adaptor in calls from your Sametime client, and also to allow for setup of audio and video-enabled meetings.
