Including audio

Audio, music previews, character catch phrases, or background ambient sounds can be used to engage the user with the theme of your iAd.

Converting your audio

Just like images, your audio has to be in the Apple-recommended format to get the best performance from your iAd and the device it's running on.

Note

Apple recommends AAC audio files with the .m4a extension at a bit rate of 128 kbps. iOS devices have dedicated hardware chips inside them to effortlessly decode this format for crisp-and-clear, uninterrupted playback.
