Time for action — creating an immersive video experience


With full screen HTML5 banners, we're able to capture the user's entire attention by filling the entire screen, giving us a great way to immerse them with our brand. Combining a full screen banner and preroll video will transition the user into our ad, excited to find out about our product:

  1. 1. If it isn't already open, open the Cloud 9 demo in iAd Producer. Double-click on the banner to open the banner on the canvas. Using banner drawer, open the template chooser and select the Blank fullscreen template. If you're unsure which template is a standard banner and which is fullscreen, hover your mouse over each one and Fullscreen will appear on the correct one.

    Note

    You might need to change the view of the canvas to 50 percent so you can see the entire banner.

  2. 2. Open the Inspector and set the Name propertyto something identifiable, such as Fullscreen Banner. Now, we'll set the background image of the page and expand the Background section...
