Despite our great level of professionalism and lots of testing throughout the development phase of the project, we have most probably left lots of mistakes, inconsistencies, and technical bugs behind. These errors must be removed from the project before the final publication. The problem is that we have been working so hard and so long on these projects that we are just not able to see those little details anymore.
By letting reviewers in the project, we bring in fresh eyes and open minds. Most of the time, their feedback is an invaluable asset that helps us take a step back and see what our projects are really capable of in the real world, outside the eLearning studio.
This is not only about going the extra mile. Such a review process is an essential part of any professional project.
