In our role as administrator for our Blackboard Learn instance, we face user issues and problems almost everyday. Some of these issues require the help from Blackboard's support team to resolve. However, there is information within the system that can help us troubleshoot the possible issue or problem. Just as the support team uses the logs and the database to search for clues, we can do the same.
The log files are the first line in the investigation. Often, they give us the first clues, however sometimes it can feel like we are searching for a needle in not just a haystack, but a barn full of hay. Within our Administrator Panel, we have several different ways we can work with these log files to help us expedite our search. Let's take some time to learn how to access them.
