So we have reviewed the branding options within our Blackboard Learn environment. We changed the look and feel of our Blackboard Learn instance, but we have an additional place to apply our branding—the application's login page.
Earlier we learned that if we are a licensed user of the Blackboard Community system, we are allowed direct access. If the Direct Access tab is on, a user who hasn't logged in will see a page with tabs and modules with the ability to log in. This differs from the default login or gateway page in Blackboard Learn. In the following screenshot, we can see a comparison of the two different options side by side. We can configure the settings how users will log in to our Blackboard Learn environment within the Gateway Options area under the Security module on the System Admin tab. If we don't have Blackboard Community we will be directed to the gateway page by default.
