So now we know how to create roles for users on the course, system administration, or institution levels. We even saw what privileges were available to each role and how to permit and restrict them. However, what if we want to look at a privilege and see what roles utilize it? Blackboard Learn gives us that ability using the Privileges area.
Unlike most of our role management, we find the Privileges link in the Security module in the System Admin tab.
This link takes us to the Privileges page within our instance. This page lists all the privileges available along with a search box. The search box tool can search privileges or roles within the system. If we look at our options, there are many roles that we have already discussed in this chapter, but we might also find other roles.
