Tailoring


Tailors craft Cloth Armor, Leg Enhancements, and bags for players to use. As with leatherworking, the leg enhancements, called Spellthreads, will be a top-seller along with the entry level PvE and PvP gear. Tailoring can also make various bags (that can be used right from the moment a player starts a new character), though the larger and therefore more expensive bags will mostly be going to max level characters.

The catch with Tailoring that's unique among the armor-crafting professions, Blacksmithing, and Leatherworking, is that one of Tailors' main ingredients is behind a cooldown; in Mists of Pandaria, it's Imperial Silk. The standard method for making Imperial Silk has a one day cooldown (resets at midnight), and takes eight Bolt of Windwool Cloth (Bolt of Windwool Cloth takes five Windwool Cloth each to make, so one Imperial Silk takes 40 Windwool Cloth with this method).
