Making even the simplest garment for a 3D character can be a daunting task if you have never done it before. A whole book could be dedicated to that process, if we had to cover all the techniques in detail. On the other hand, we can cover the basics in a few pages, if we keep our target simple. The following tutorial is based on a very simple dress. Don't expect high fashion. We are going to keep things very, very simple so that we can see all the steps involved from zero to the finished product.
