We started this chapter by claiming that TouchDesigner is both intuitive and deep, and by now, I hope understand what was meant by that. We saw how to get some movement in TOPs using CHOP exports; we have arrived at a basic understanding about what the UI is showing us and what it is capable of. Also, we saw how to enter performance mode and how to record movies, how to build a simple UI, and how to inspect what's actually happening using the viewer active flag, the display flag, the evaluate DAT, the trail CHOP, and other techniques.
Now, we'll put all of what we've learned to some use! We're going to first connect Max and TouchDesigner to get some basic audiovisual experience going!
