Chapter 7. Professional Video Editing

There is a bunch of filters in the Video | Filters menu. So why do we need extra plug-ins for VirtualDub, especially where some of them are similar to internal VirtualDub filters?

In some situations, applying an internal filter for optimizing an image will not lead to good results (because of the internal algorithm, video format, etc.). In such cases, we can try other filters that do the same job in a different manner. Moreover, not all tasks can be performed with VirtualDub internal filters and we have to use other plug-ins instead.

The plug-ins discussed in this chapter:
