Let's look at the best practices to copy effects from the Photo mode. That's right! Typically, a project can be a series of still images and small clips that are combined together and provide all the visual aids that are indispensable for the client. Normally, the images come first and all our hard work, including tweaking and adjusting the effect's parameters, can and should be copied from the Photo to Movie modes. This is also possible the other way around. There are some restrictions while copying effects from the Movie to Photo mode, but these are related only to the animation effects. Also, this is not a magic formula because we still need to adjust some effects in particular when working with global illumination and depth of field.

Copying the effects from one mode to another is very easy, as you can see in the following screenshot:
