Photoshop is one of the most famous applications from Adobe. It is an amazing image-editing tool aimed at the professional designer. Many design companies around the world use Photoshop as one of their primary tools to develop the look and feel of the projects they work on.
It is therefore very common to have a designer make use of Photoshop to create the look and feel of a Captivate project. This is why the Captivate engineering team came up with a specific feature to import a Photoshop file into Captivate.
In Photoshop, each piece of the image is stored on a separate layer. At the bottom of the layer stack is the background layer. The other layers are arranged on top of the background in a way that is similar to what is found in the Timeline panel of Captivate.
