You can compose web pages in Moodle, and also copy-and-paste HTML code from other web pages into Moodle. Web pages give you more options than any of the text document types covered in this chapter, including the ability to include Java and other active code on the page. To start creating a web page, from the Add a resource... drop-down menu, choose the option Compose a web page.
You do not need to learn HTML to create web pages in Moodle. When you compose a web page, Moodle gives you a WYSIWYG word processor on screen. This word processor gives you basic formatting icons in the toolbar. Pointing to any icon displays a pop-up telling you the name of the command:
