Time for action - managing your notifications


  1. 1. Click Notifications on the Settings submenu.

  2. 2. You will now see a screen listing all your notifications, including their Subject, Activity type, and Date sent. If you are quite new to the site, it is likely that you don't have many (if any) notifications yet. Let's start by seeing what to do if you have a received a message from another user. Janet sees in her notification section that she has received a message from Fernando Canizares. Click on the message link to view it.

  1. 3. The message is then dropped down and displayed to you. Next, click the More... link.

  1. 4. On this page, you will see that you have the option to reply to the message that you have been sent. Janet Norman replies to Fernando and clicks Reply.

  1. 5. At this point you will find yourself in the My Friends area of the site, so navigate back to the Notifications area. Now that Janet has read the message from Fernando, she is going to delete it. To do that, check the box for the...
