In Workshop, there are so many options that it is not practical or possible for me to cover them all here. In this chapter, we have seen the basic functionality in Workshop and worked through setting up a single, basic Workshop. We have looked at the different forms for assessment and seen both the student and teacher views. We have looked at the way grades are seen and how the Assessment Form works.
We have looked at the important features of grading and assessing, but one thing that we did not do is create a sample assignment for students to practice on. This is something that you may want to consider for each and every Workshop you create. Making a sample for the students to work through will not only be a useful exercise for them, but it will also give them practice using the Assessment Form, so when they begin assessing their peers, they have already been exposed to its style and functionality.
