In this recipe, we will create the ocean surface material to add finer waves or wavelets and also wave foam under the surface. This type of interaction is frequently seen in shallower water where the wave action interacts with the plankton waste materials to produce tiny air bubbles that eventually rise to the surface near the shoreline. It will be used to add a nice contrast to the material to give a semi-transparent look to the simulation.
You will need the large-scale-water-05.blend
saved at the end of the last recipe. Or unzip it from the large-scale-ocean.zip
