Time for action — where's your style?


It's easy to use iAd Producer's style presets to keep track of, and apply commonly used styles in each of our ads:

  1. 1. In iAd Producer, open the Styles Demo example project included with this book assets folder.

  2. 2. From the ad overview, you should see this ad has two pages; the first page has some snazzy, styled text, while the second has some boring default text on it. We're going to copy the style of the first page and apply it to the second. Double-click the first page to open it on the canvas.

  3. 3. Single-click on the area of text to select it; then, open the inspector pane, if it isn't already open. Under the STYLES heading, there is a drop-down textbox with Custom written in it; click on the cog icon to the right of that, and select Save as..., to save a new style preset.

  4. 4. iAd Producer shows which properties will be included with the style. Let's not include opacity for this style preset, by removing the tick next to Opacity. Different styles are available...
