Time for action — combining objects to create a unique menu


We can combine the 3D carousel with buttons, as it's not just limited to images; this means we're able to use buttons that'll act like flying planes for the menu in our ad. In order to combine objects to create a unique menu, follow these steps:

  1. 1. We'll be continuing with the Cloud 9 - iPad project, so if it isn't already open, open it in iAd Producer.

  2. 2. Before we make our menu, let's set up the placeholder pages of our iAd. From the ad overview double-click on the first page item, to open the template chooser. Select the second blank template, a Blank landscape page, and click on Choose:

  3. 3. Click on the new blank page in the ad overview. Open the Inspector and change the name to Test Flight.

  4. 4. Repeat this for the other two pages, choose the first Grid View template, in landscape, for the next page, and change the name to Making Memories. For the final page, select the Map and update the name to Book a flight.
