Thanks to the Advanced Actions and the Variables, we have been able to add a whole new level of interaction and interactivity to our projects. The good news is that we just briefly approached the tip of the iceberg in this chapter. The possibilities are virtually endless and your imagination is the ultimate limit to what can be achieved.
To implement these Advanced Actions and these Variables, Captivate takes advantage of its Flash roots and more specifically to one of the greatest additions to the Flash technology: a programming language called ActionScript. When publishing the project to HTML 5, Captivate translates these variables and Advanced Actions to JavaScript instead.
