Preface

Working with the Library


The Library panel was a new feature of Captivate 2 released in October 2006. When using the Classic workspace, the Library panel appears as a tab next to the Properties panel at the right-hand side of the screen.

  1. 1. Return to the encoderDemo_800.cptx file.

  2. 2. To open the Library panel, click on the Library tab situated next to the Properties panel. Alternatively, use the Window | library menu.

    The Library holds a list of all the assets of the current file. These assets include the background pictures captured during the filming of the project, all the external files imported into the movie (images, video, sounds, and so on), as well as the Full Motion Recording clips, and the sound recordings made with Captivate.

    • At the very top of the Library panel, we can see the name of the file the Library belongs to (1).
