No matter how much we, as administrators, work to provide the best tools and options for our users, someone will always want more. Building blocks, Web Services, and LTI tools are just some of the ways by which we can provide the latest technologies to our instructors and users. These tools require some configuration to allow communication, which should be provided by the developer—whether that is an institution, non-profit organization, third-party vendor, or Blackboard Inc. We can find these tools in a few areas, and often learn about them through word of mouth.
We are near the end of our Blackboard Learn journey, but our final discussions can be the most important to an administrator. Disasters, no matter how small or how big, will happen.
