Bringing night to day


A short and sweet section here, many of the reconstruction clips were supposed to be shot at night, but of course they were reconstructed during the day (budget constraints get to everything). In this very brief section you will copy and paste the adjustment layer from the UFO simulation, and add it to the Reconstruction_1.avi clips on the Timeline.

This task is here simply to show you that once you have an effect you like, you needn't waste time trying to recreate it, you can simply use copy and paste, regardless of which sequence that effect might have originally be created in.

Engage Thrusters

Create a nighttime scene by copying and pasting an adjustment layer from one sequence to another. Perform the following steps:

  1. Click once on the UFO Simulation tab on the Timeline to access that sequence.

  2. Right-click on the adjustment layer on the Timeline of that sequence and select Copy from the context menu.

  3. Return to the Project 3 sequence by clicking on that tab in the Timeline...
