The problem with the real world is the various real-world stuff that conspires against you on a moment-by-moment basis to ruin your shot, or that of the cameraperson providing the video for you to edit. Nowhere is that more true than in the world of sound. Even the camera being used can be a pain, as the sound of it whirring away makes an unwanted contribution to the video being produced.
In this short task, you will take one of the clips from Project 3, Protect the Innocent – Interview Edit Techniques and attempt to remove a slight hiss in the background; actually, it's the noise of a tiny motor inside the camera feeding the tape through the recording head. Tiny it might be, but the background hiss is enough to detract from the overall presentation. Here you will use the Lowpass filter to combat this noise, which includes one of the many audio filters available to you in Premiere Pro CS6.
