Creating archive copies of your work


Exporting your work is the final stage. It says you are done with the editing process and you are ready for the world to see your work! Or it could say that you have run out of time or you are sick to death with making single frame adjustments to your film and you want to move on to the next project.

Whichever is true, you will probably create a DVD or you will find a format you want to use with a video web hosting site. However good these formats are for their specific function, they will in some way create a slight degradation in quality. Re-renders will compound the problem.

If you want to work on your final project again at some point in the future, you need to create a safety backup and the best format for that is an uncompressed AVI. In this task you will do just that.
