Appendix A. The Boot Process

The BBB/BBW boards offer several ways of booting that can be leveraged for different purposes, such as recovering a board from a software corruption, putting a used board into a known state, or booting a newly-built board. This appendix provides an overview of what is possible, as this subject does come up in various forms on the support forums and mailing lists.
