Summary

In this chapter, we built a living, breathing mobile application with jQuery Mobile. Stop and give yourself a pat on the back. We walked through the process of listing the requirements for our app, building the wireframes, and writing the HTML. You learned about HTML5's localStorage using the templates for text replacement, and some of the cooler features of jQuery Mobile, including dynamically adding and refreshing elements on the page.

In the next chapter, you'll learn how to set global configuration options for jQuery Mobile and how to use other utility APIs within jQuery Mobile to streamline your code and take advantage of the great work the jQuery Mobile team has already done on your behalf.
