  • What are the most common issues that can interrupt network services on a Mac?
  • How can you verify if your Mac is connecting effectively to another network host?

What are the most common issues that can interrupt network services on a Mac?

Three issues can interrupt network services:

  • Local issues: This means that your network settings have been configured incorrectly or that the computer has been disconnected from the network.
  • Network issues: This means that the problem might be at the ISP, DNS, or DHCP server level. In this case, you can use Network Utility to perform ping tests or the Lookup tab to test the resolution...
