How to do it...

You will now register your app into the Apple App Store and obtain a bundle ID. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the App Store Connect page at https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/ and log in with your username and password. After a successful login, you should see a page similar to the following screenshot:

  1. Go to the identifiers section of App Store Connect at https://developer.apple.com/account/resources/identifiers/list/bundleId and click on the + button to create a new bundle ID.
  1. Select the App IDs option, as shown in the following screenshot, then click the Continue button at the top right of the page:

  1. On the screen you get after clicking Continue, make sure the App option is selected and click Continue again.

  2. On the Register an App ID page, fill in the details for the Description and Bundle ID boxes. For the bundle ID, a reverse domain name is recommended (such as com.yourdomainname.yourappname).
