Installing fastlane for iOS

In order to configure fastlane on iOS, follow these steps:

  1. Open a Terminal window and install the Xcode command-line tools by typing the following command:
xcode-select --install
  1. If brew is not installed on your system yet, install it by typing the following:
/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL"
  1. Install fastlane with the following command:
brew install fastlane
  1. Initialize fastlane with the following command:
fastlane init 
  1. When prompted, choose the Automate app store distribution option.
  2. When prompted, insert your developer Apple ID username and password.
  3. If appropriate, answer yes (y) at the prompt to create the App Store Connect app.
  4. At the end of the process, fastlane should have been correctly configured for iOS distribution.
