In this chapter, we stepped into the shoes of a business user in the sales department and created a self-service report using the browser-based Power View development interface available through the SharePoint environment. The end result was a visually appealing and highly interactive report, which we created from start to finish without the need to involve IT resources. Finally, we deployed the report to a SharePoint PowerPivot Gallery (document library), where the rest of our department was now able to access the report.
