In this chapter, we will discuss shell management, tools, and user management. Shell management will help administrators set up shell for remote access to server without monitors, schedule jobs on the server for their condition maintenance, and also collect information in logs for any troubleshooting. We will also look at optimizing the shell. Lastly, we will learn about user management, permissions, and file access.
