Simple Notification Service

AWS Simple Notification Service (SNS) is a messaging service. SNS coordinates and manages the sending and delivery of messages to specific endpoints. Endpoints are the targets where notifications need to be sent out. You can use SNS to receive notifications when an event occurs in your AWS environment. SNS is integrated into many AWS services, so it is easy to set up notifications based on events that occur in those services. With CloudWatch and SNS, full environment monitoring solutions can be created that notify developers, administrators, or IT staff about various issues in the environment. It is not just related to issues, but you can also extend the CloudFormation template capability to notify other resources based on the stack components it creates. The more you use this service, the more you become a fan of it.
