Summary

Elastic Load Balancer is an amazing component of the EC2 service, which allows us to build a highly available and fault-tolerant environment. With the addition of Application Load Balancer to the fleet, the capabilities of the load balancer service have reached a very high level. There is no need to create multiple load balancers for multiple applications, and this actually helps to reduce cost and maintenance. Classic Load Balancer is still a choice if you have TCP and SSL traffic. In the near future, AWS will enhance the limit of the number of applications and listeners that can be supported on the Application Load Balancer.
