Types of Elastic Load Balancers

Elastic Load Balancing is part of the EC2 service. As discussed earlier, ELB lets you design fault-tolerant and highly available applications by distributing incoming traffic to more than one EC2 instance. There are two types of load balancers. One is called Classic Load Balancer and other one is known as Application Load Balancer.
