In this chapter, you’ve been shown the basic principles of how to create a controller that dynamically finds, connects to, and interacts with devices in its vicinity on the internet. You’ve been introduced to the fundamentals of discovery on the internet, as well as the basic principles of Thing Registries and how these can be used to interconnect entities on the internet. You have learned the difference between conceptual and network identities, and how these can be paired using an ownership claim procedure.
