Managing Site Content


The options included on the Site Name & Description page enable you to manage content oriented towards the site such as name, description, meta tags, and copyright notices. Let us examine each of the settings in detail.

Site Name

You can specify a title for your site with the help of this setting. Actually, once you log in as an administrator, you can click on the title portion at the top of the site and enter the required name for your site. This feature is available from Community Server 2.0 and above, and it is the recommended method of changing the site name.

Site Description

You can specify a description for your site using this setting. Actually, once you log in as an administrator, you can click on the description portion below the site title and enter the required information. This feature is available from Community Server 2.0 and above and it is the recommended method of providing a description for your site.
