I've tried to cover most of the default settings that need to be examined, but there are still further checks that can be carried out via the Best Practise Analyser tool to ensure a smooth migration.
To help maintain a well-run SBS 2003 system, Microsoft produced the "Best Practices Analyzer", which will do a more thorough investigation into your system. This tool can be downloaded from http://davidoverton.com/r.ashx?11 and should be installed and run.
Select Start Scan to kick things off and wait while it investigates your settings. This will take a few minutes to complete.
Once the analyzer has run, you can judge if any of the issues warrant further action.
