Introduction

Today we are going to tackle a number of tasks related to networking your Windows Server 2012 R2 machines and locking down that environment a little bit with the enabling of some security functions. Some of the tools we are going to use can be very useful for daily tasks, and I hope that the steps we take will prompt you to start some gears spinning in your own mind to investigate deeper into taking full advantage of what Microsoft has offered you within this operating system.
