Scheduling reports


By now, you should have a better understanding of how to view or run an existing report and create new reports, but Service-Now is not limited to this. You can even schedule reports to be sent out from the Service-Now environment at any time.

Getting ready

By default, Service-Now has the schedule report feature using which you can schedule a report daily, monthly, yearly, or periodically. All you need for this is an active Service-Now instance, valid credentials, and a role (admin, report admin, or report group).

How to do it...

  1. Open a web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer).

  2. Type the instance web address in the address bar.

  3. Log in to the Service-Now instance using the credentials.

  4. Type the Report in the search bar (left-hand side).

    • Click on View or Run module under report application, as now you can see a newly created report.

  5. Last  Month  Incident  Report as shown in following screenshot:
