Integrating with A10

The A10 Thunder is the easiest way to get started with L4-L7 services. This is because you can download a trial of the A10 Thunder and also download the device package from A10. The other services listed are a little more difficult to get started with unless you have a large wallet.

In this recipe, we will be adding a new application profile and EPG so that we can deploy the A10 between the existing TenantA_AP1 and the new web application profile.

How to do it...

  1. Create a second application profile, called TenantA-Web-AP, using the TenantA_VRF2 bridge domain created in Chapter 2, Configuring Policies and Tenants.

The Application Profiles window should look like this:

  1. Create a subnet for TenantA_VRF2:
  1. vCenter should see the new EPG settings:
  1. We have already covered installing the vThunder device package at the start of this chapter, but you can register to download it from https://www.a10networks.com/cisco-aci-integration.
  2. Download the trial from https://www.a10networks.com...
