Configuring restore points


Now that you know about System Restore and have learned how to enable it, it is time to learn how to create a restore point. Part of the restore point configuration process is also the configuration of disk space usage. This will then be used by the restore point to save the computer's states on it.

Configuring the amount of disk space

To configure the amount of the disk space in your Windows 10 computer using System Properties, complete the following steps:

  1. Repeat step 1 to step 3 from the Enabling System Restoresection.
  1. In the System Protection for System Drive (C:) dialog box, within the Disk Space Usagesection, adjust the Max Usage slider to the preferred percentage as shown in Figure 13.5, and then click OK:
