As you may know, a virtual private network (VPN) is a logical connection on the internet for transmitting data securely. As its name suggests, a VPN creates a virtual point-to-point link between two computers on the WAN (that is, internet). That way, by utilizing tunneling protocols and data encryption algorithms, the VPN enables remote users to get connected to an organization's network over the internet infrastructure.
