Managing Date and Time Settings


You can specify date- and time-related settings that will be used by the Community Server for various purposes by selecting the Date/Time Settings link from the Settings section. Let us examine each of them in detail.

Time Zone

As an administrator, you can specify a Time zone using the setting. However, your users can override this setting by selecting a Time zone in the Site Options tab on the profile. The drop-down box shows a list of zones and you need to pick an option from it depending upon the time zone in which the SQL server holding the Community Server database is located. Community Server uses this setting to display time-related information on the site.

Date Format
