Time for action – the Batch Copy

As a preparation, you will need to create a new user. Just fill in the User Name and Password fields and click on Save. You do not need to worry about the permissions.

  1. Go to Utilities | User Management.

  2. Select the user you just created.

  3. Choose Batch Copy from the drop-down box and click on Go.

  4. A confirmation box will appear, where you can select the Template User from a drop-down box as shown in the following screenshot:

  5. Select the _CustomerA_user as the Template User and click on the Continue button.

What just happened?

You just copied all realm and graph permissions, as well as some default user settings, to your newly created user. You can select more than one user for the batch copy function. Although this functionality does not replace real group management, it does greatly ease the administration of different user groups.
