Blocking unwanted callers


In case we face a situation where an unwanted caller threatens the user's integrity, we can use this menu to block their caller ID. As soon the call enters the PBX, it will be disconnected after playing the following message: The number you have reached is not in service.

How to do it…

The process of blocking unwanted caller ID is described in the following steps:

  1. Go to the PBX | Blacklist menu.

  2. Click on the Number field and add the caller IDs we would like to block.

  3. As soon as this is done, the blocked number will appear in an editable list in the upper part of the page, as shown in the following screenshot:

We can still use *32 to blacklist the caller.
