Introduction

Applications and services running on Windows Server AppFabric need to be secured at two levels. First and foremost, the application and services must be developed using best practices outlined by Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle (SDL). Considering the breadth and depth of SDL, discussing what it entails for developing WCF and WF applications is beyond the scope of this book.
