Microsoft Lync Server 2013


Lync Server 2013 is Microsoft's latest solution for real-time communication and it represents the next technological step to make communication between people and businesses easier and efficient. Lync Server 2013 is the next generation of Lync Server 2010 and Office Communications Server 2007 R2. It has both platform enhancements as well as new features such as the ability to dial-in audio conferencing, desktop sharing from any workstation, persistent chat (Group Chat) integration, and also the availability of Lync "mobile" for mobile device platforms such as Windows 8 and Windows 8 RT, Apple IOS, Google Android, BlackBerry, and many others.

Like almost every Microsoft product, Lync Server 2013 has a client-server architecture and thus it has various client integrations and access options.
